I am in a bad mood… Anytime I haven’t watched TV for several days (like now, when I spent almost the whole week with the dogs), it takes hours for the TV to read the digital card. So, I put on the TV at 2 pm, hoping I would get an image before the qualifying that started at 3 pm. Nope! It’s 4.30 pm now and the TV remains black with a green box saying I have no signal… 😦
So, no qualifying. I haven’t watched anything about Formula one this weekend! Will I get to see the rerun of the qualifying at 9 pm? Who knows…
And now I have to avoid any websites that might reveal anything about the outcome of the qualifying.
I guess I’ll just stay away from the computer and read a book instead.
I didn’t get to see any free practice today either because I went to town. They had an autumn market on the market square. I bought a cross stitch kit (a christmas picture), and mint flavored honey. I don’t usually like honey, but the mint flavored one is really yummy!
Mum and Kari were also there with Alec (I took the bicycle and they walked to town). But I walked around with them a little. At 11 am they had a celebration for the local ice hockey team, Vaasa Sport. They had two huge blown up eagles on the market square! 😀 Their logo is an eagle as you can see on the big eagle’s chest.
They presented the players and talked to the coach etc. They also had some artists. The music was a little too loud for me. Krista Siegfrieds was there (who represented Finland in the Eurovision Song Contest a few years ago), as well as the winners of Voice of Finland 2013 and 2014. The event took well over an hour. Lots of people were there and the players later walked around the area giving key chains and small pins to people. Small boys and girls collected autographs from the players and artists. I got a key chain with the eagle logo from one of the players, while mum and Alec got a pin each.
My TV is still black and silent… I’ll warm up some left over dinner now. Macaronis and minced meat. I made it yesterday and I’ll eat the rest of it today.
