This is a typical Fat Tuesday bun that Finns (and Swedes, and may be others too) eat this day. It’s a cinnamon bun, with the top cut off. It’s filled with either raspberry jam or almond paste (both mum and I want almond paste) and whipped cream. Then the lid is put back on. Usually they put powdered sugar on the lid, but in this case there are small pieces of almonds and hard sugar.
We are going to eat them tonight. 🙂
