Going to Turku

I think I will have to go to bed in a couple of hours, around 8 pm. I need some sleep before the alarm clock wakes me up at 1 am… The bus to Turku leaves at 2.30 am. 😦 I shall be in Turku around 8.30 am. School starts 9.30. At 5.10 pm I will be on the bus again, going the other direction. The bus will come to Vasa 11 pm and I will be home shortly after, may be 11.20 pm.

But before I get to sleep, I need to shower, vacuum clean the house (or most of it), wash the dishes, pack the bag… Last week I booked the sauna for 5 pm. But I cancelled that. That’s why I am taking a shower instead.

Oh, I almost forgot… I have to sew the jeans too! 😦 May be I won’t be in bed at 8 pm after all. So much to do.

It’s the last time we have to go to Turku and the teacher promised us cake in the afternoon! 😀

The cat will get some company tomorrow. My sister will come and some of the kids. They will be here a while after they have visited grand mum.

I have not a clue what kind of weather Turku will have tomorrow. I hope it’s not going to rain. I don’t want to drag an umbrella or a rain coat with me too. Must check the Internet and see what kind of temperatures there’s going to be.

Better log out and start doing something a bit more useful. 😉

Princess Leonore

Ok, so now Princess Madeleine’s and Chris O’Neill’s baby has gotten her name revealed. Her Royal Highness, Princess Leonore Lilian Maria, duchess of the island Gotland. Cute! 🙂 They also published the first two pictures of her; pictures taken by Chris and Madeleine themselves! They are both talented photographers. The pictures were cute.

I really liked watching “Kill your darlings.”. It was a great movie! 😀 I am going to watch it many times more in the future. 🙂

Today I ordered the TV-channels that I need in order to see the Formula 1 season! I’ll see them from March 1st (to November 30th).

Tomorrow the final pre-season testing will start. They will test in Bahrain again. Kimi Räikkönen is driving Thursday and Saturday, while Alonso drives Friday and Sunday.

I am going to boil a couple of eggs now and then spend the rest of the evening reading a book. 🙂

Excited! :)

Just got the film “Kill your darlings” on DVD!!! 😀 Daniel Radcliffe as Allan Ginsberg!

But I have to go to the dog one final time now, take it out for a walk and spend a little time with him. I also have to take home all the things/clothes that I have there. My sister’s family comes home in the afternoon, so they are going to feed him when they come.

When I come home again from the dog I will watch the movie. 🙂

It feels pretty cold in the air, but it’s +2 C at the moment. Cloudy, no sun. Thankfully it’s drier now, so the dog doesn’t get that dirty when we are out. But late last night he got dirty when we were out and he started rolling around on the ground! I was like “What the heck are you doing?” He had the yellow reflective vest on him, so that got muddy too… I think he will have a bath tonight or tomorrow. 😉

Well, I am going to go to the dog now so I can come home and watch the movie! 😀

It’s so frustrating paying bills on the computer, when the website takes ages to update. Now I tried paying a bill twice, but never got any confirmation. It only said technical error. So I don’t know if I paid the bill twice, once or not at all… I guess I will have to try and see later if I can find something. Otherwise I have to go to the bank and ask them.

The strong winds lasted at least two nights! Finally it’s a bit calmer. All snow is gone, the grass is green. + 5 C at the moment.

I am going back to the dog in the afternoon, may be around 4 pm, give him food, go out with him. I guess Ill spend the rest of the evening there then.

I should go do some errands, but I don’t feel like going to the town. There have been so much cycling these days in the storm. I can go the the grocery store down the street.

Very stormy

Geez, it was pretty scary being alone with the dog. I almost thought the roof would blow off the house… 😦 Then I come home and now I am worried that the window in the living room will come in. Well, it probably won’t. But it’s not fun hearing those noises and see how the window is moving back and forth.

Got home around 10 pm. I guess I’ll have to go back to the dog around 7 am or 7.30 am. I watched the closing ceremony for the Olympics. It was pretty good. The poor mascot bear shed a tear when he blew out the fire. 😦 I didn’t know that the next winter Olympics will be held in South Korea.

I’m pretty cold at the moment. I’ll change clothes and watch something on YouTube before I go to bed.

It’s princess Estelle’s (of Sweden) 2nd birthday today! 😀 Apparently she is in Norway with her parents. 🙂 They showed a picture today where she blows out two candles on a birthday cake, but the pictures had been taken earlier in the week. How fun that it is only a few days between the cousins’ birthdays. Princess Madeleine’s baby was born February 20th and Estelle February 23rd. 🙂 The two cousins will for sure have very different lives, just because Estelle is the heir to the throne. Madeleine’s baby will have a much more “normal” life.

Busy days

I’m a bit stressed about the coming days. Mum is in Sweden and my sister’s family went this morning to the east of Finland (I think), to some ski resort or something. They are coming home on Wednesday evening. So I have to go back and forth between my home and my sister’s house the next days to look after the dog, Albin, and my cat, Niki. 😦

It’s sunny, but the winds are strong at the moment, it feels cold, it’s muddy, wet, icy all at the same time. Slushy, dirty snow on the shadowy parts. I know that, because I just took the bicycle to the nearby supermarket to get a “ton” of kitty litter… Ok, it’s 8 liters, but it feels like it weighs several kilos.

The dog will have to sleep alone two nights. I think I will have to sleep over there one night, between Monday and Tuesday. It will then be the first time that my cat is alone during the night.

Well, I guess it is good to practice. On Friday evening/early Saturday morning (probably 1.45 am) I have to take the bus to Turku, because we have to study there. I so wish they would have picked another day for going to Turku. But of course it has to be the Saturday when mum is still in Sweden. I will be back home at 11.30 pm late on Saturday evening/night. I can’t leave Niki alone almost 22 hours! My sister has to come here on Saturday at some point to feed it, fix the kitty litter and spend some time with the cat, so it doesn’t feel too abandoned.

I’m going to eat something now and put some things/clothes in a bag. Then I am going to the dog and I will spend the rest of the day there. I probably have to take the dog out for a walk around 10 pm, may be a bit later, so I won’t be home until very late. Then I have to go back early tomorrow morning so I can take the dog out again.

Before the week is over I also have to get the bus tickets, but I suppose I will have to wait until Thursday or Friday to get those.
