Sweden is celebrating their National Day today! Congratulations, all Swedes! 😀 Have just watched live on Internet when the Royal family left the palace to go to the celebrations. They sat as usual in carriages that is been driven by horses, lots of horses. 🙂 So nice to see that princess Madeleine and Chris O’Neill got to sit in the same carriage as the king and the queen. But then, they are getting married on Saturday, so that was probably why they got to sit there. Plus, the second carriage was a little bit crowded. 😉 Crown princess Victoria, prince Daniel, prince Carl Philip… And, for at least a bit, the super cute little princess Estelle! 😀 But Estelle was not in the carriage anymore when they arrived to the celebration site, so they dropped off their daughter at some point. The nanny was probably somewhere close, so she can look after Estelle while the rest of the family celebrates. She is only 1 year and 3 months, so that was understandable.
I’m sure Chris is pretty nervous… This is the first time he represent with the Royal family in Sweden. Madeleine and Chris did go with the king and the queen when they visited the USA earlier in the year, but that was much smaller. This is big for him! Millions of Swedes will watch him on TV tonight.
They don’t show the celebrations live on TV. That starts in an hour. I’ll watch it then of course.
Until then I am going to crochet.
